Facial Muscle Firming Treatment - Nasal RegionThe pair of muscles known as the Levator labii superioris alaeque nasi consist of fibres arranged as thin triangles located by the side of the nose extending from the inner margin of the orbit and the upper lip. Each originates at the nasal process of the superior maxillary bone and passes obliquely downward and outward, dividing into two sections, the first of which inserts into the cartilage of the alae of the nose and the second continuing on to insert into the orbicularis oris and the levator labii superioris proper. Their action is to elevate the upper lip and dilate the nostrils. |
