Fibroblasts

The fibroblasts are interspersed among the collagen fibers of the dermis, and synthesize collagen and the ground substance of dermis (glycosaminoglycans).

The fibroblasts are more numerous and larger in the papillary dermis than in the reticular dermis.

Fibroblasts are one of the prime treatment targets of the Skin Treatment for Aging Skin and Skin Lifting Treatments. Their function is also enhanced through the Skin Immunity Treatment.
