Facial Massage & Shiatsu using Decleor, Darphin & Yonka Essential OilsFacial Shiatsu is a Japanese massage technique suited to improving the color and texture of the skin without chemicals or machines. It is also the only way clients can experience the full benefits of the Decleor, Darphin and Yonka Essential Oil Complexes prescribed to them by specialists. You can view the relevant Darphin aromatherapy skin care in a separate section of the site. There is also a complete listing of the natural Darphin treatments. These aromatherapy skin care treatments work (for the main part) due to the volatile gases they release on application. Facial massage using the Japanese technique of Shiatsu makes the greatest use of these aromas, working synergistically to improve both the lower layers of the skin (the dermis) and providing deep relaxation. As stress is one of the major causes of premature skin aging (excess cortisol harms collagen and elastin production), the aromatherapeutic aspect of facial massage with suitable oils is most valuable. Because Shiatsu already has the ability to stimulate the circulatory system and improve muscle tone, the combination of Yonka, Darphin or Decleor Essential Oils (all of which detoxify the lymph) with this mode of application provides ultimate and 100% natural skin care treatment. In Oriental medicine, the skin is seen as an indicator of general health, and when outwardly radiant, a sign that all body systems are in "unity." Shiatsu is seen to "open the meridians" or "energy pathways." In effect, it does improve circulation. Dark circles and cellulite can be well treated using shiatsu. The overall tone and shape of the face and its underlying muscles can also be strengthened. Proper circulation and muscle tone, adequate sleep and good hormonal balance (in women, particularly estrogen) are key ingredients for a glowing complexion. Both East and West are in agreement here. My personal preference for facial drainage (increasingly referred to as "skin detox"), relaxation and micro-circulation enhancement are the Darphin Essential Oil Complexes, known as "Aroma Cares." Their formulae are significantly more elaborate than those of Decleor, and combine added nutrients with the plant essences. They are also stronger, based on a greater variety of essences and carrier oils and, in my opinion, more beautiful. Of course aromatherapy in skin care is very much a personal preference, so you should always use what you are comfortable with in terms of aroma, so long as your choice remains suited to your skin's condition. Yonka's essential oils are my second preference, and are good for alteration with those of Darphin. The Yon-Ka Serum is what I use most and is suited to all skin types, but is especially liked by those with dry, dehydrated, damaged or unfirm skin. Some of their other formulae are especially suited to extended massage, such as Yonka Mesonium, a regenerating skin treatment which is applied in two parts (one "phase" is water-based and the other is oil-based).
