Facial Massage

Facial Massage with Shiatsu (Japanese). Treating the forehead...

In this facial massage sequence, using either a Decleor, Yonka or Darphin oil suited to your skin's condition, your fingertips should be perpendicular to your forehead and your hands will move outward from the center of the forehead to your temples.

  • Using 2-3 drops of Darphin Rose Aromatic Skin Care Oil (normal/dry skin), Niaouli Aromatic Skin Care Oil (oily/combination/blemished or dull skin) or Darphin Camomile Aromatic Skin Care Oil (normal/dry/sensitive skin), touch the tips of your index fingers together just below the center of your hairline (on the widow's peak).
  • Touch the tips of your middle fingers together in the center of your forehead. Your third fingers should fall directly below the middle fingers just above the space between the eyebrows.
  • Give moderate (15 pound) pressure with the index, middle, and third lingers of both hands simultaneously. Pause. Repeat the pressure two more times.
  • Move your fingers apart and out to the points which run from the hairline to the centers of the eyebrows. Repeat the moderate pressure with the fingers of both hands simultaneously. Pause. Repeat two more times.
  • Enhale deeply while performing this facial massage.
  • Move your hands out to the points which run from the hairline to the ends of the eyebrows. Repeat the moderate pressure with all of the lingers simultaneously. Hold for three seconds. Repeat the pressure two more times.

Then move on to rejuvenating the eye area with a special shiatsu massage.
