Starting with the Abdomen...

The six points on your upper abdomen form an imaginary cross.

The first four points lie along the meridian of conception, the vertical line which bisects the stomach from the bottom of the rib cage to just above the navel.

The last two points lie below the rib cage, on a line straight down from the center of each breast.

Using an aromatherapeutic oil suited to Shiatsu, such the Darphin Firming and Shaping Body Oil or the Yonka Paris Contouring & Detox Petit Grain Body Oil, place the index, middle and third fingers of both hands side by side on the first point, just below the center of the rib cage.

Give moderate (15-pound) pressure with both hands for three seconds. Pause.

Then move down three finger-widths toward the navel. Repeat the moderate (15-pound) pressure with both hands for three seconds. Pause.

Move three finger-widths further down the line and repeat the moderate pressure. Pause.

Move three more finger-widths down the line. You should now be just slightly above the navel. Repeat the moderate (15-pound) pressure. Pause.

Separate your hands and do the two points immediately below the rib cage simultaneously. Use the three fingers of each hand on the respective points. Give moderate pressure for three seconds.

Next, move on to the Ankles.
